Changes Announced for Soccer and Volleyball Postseason Schedules

The Northeast District Athletic Board announced its postseason brackets on Sunday (Oct. 6) and there have been some changes since the original releases. The Beaumont School varsity soccer team won a 3-2 rain-soaked thriller over Orange on Wednesday (Oct. 2) night at Denison Park. With the win, the Blue Streaks improved to 10-3-1 on the year. The Beaumont School soccer team won its fifth straight match with a 9-0 victory over Garfield Heights on Monday (Sep. 30) night. With the win, the Blue Streaks are now 9-3-1 overall and have outscored the opposition 22-3 while recording three shutouts during this run. The Beaumont School varsity volleyball team dropped the first set to Villa Angela-St. Joseph on Thursday (Sep. 26) night but responded by winning the next three sets on its way to a North Coast League victory over the Vikings.
