Girls Varsity Softball · Softball Team Improves to 10-4 with Win at Andrews Osborne Academy


Freshman Lilly Jarc would not be denied at the plate on Tuesday (April 27), picking up four hits and leading Beaumont School to a 12-4 win over Andrews Osborne Academy.  Jarc singled in the second, doubled in the third, singled in the fourth and singled in the seventh.

Jarc, and seniors Skylar Miller and Maggie Lindner each racked up multiple hits for the Blue Streaks. Jarc went 4-for-5 at the plate.

With the win, Mark Pophal’s team is now 10-4 overall.

Beaumont fired up the offense in the second inning with two runs and added three more in the third before a four-run fourth gave the Blue Streaks a 9-0 edge.

Senior Christina Dalton, Jarc, and Lindner all drove in runs in the inning.

Lindner got the win in the circle as she surrendered four runs on seven hits over seven innings, striking out nine and walking zero.

Jaylin Mitchell took the loss for Andrews Osborne Academy. The lefthander surrendered 12 runs on ten hits over seven innings, striking out six.
