The Beaumont School varsity basketball team went on the road and defeated Berea-Midpark 55-27 on Monday (Jan. 11) night.

After ending its three-game losing streak, Coach Russell’s team sits at 4-4 while the Titans slipped to 3-3.

Senior Lydia Gattozzi led all scorers with 14 points. Her classmates Tamya Edwards and Ally Ziegler both scored in double figures with 11.

Fellow senior Ariea Garrett chipped in a career-high seven points and senior Elissa Letterio connected on two triples.

Sophomores Sophia Boes and Ellie Olack both added a bucket, as did senior Katherine Pomnean.

Jenna Bycznski and Lauren Yee both had nine points to lead the Titans.

Beaumont will return to action on Wednesday (Jan. 13) at home against St. Vincent-St. Mary with the JV game starting at 5:30 p.m. and varsity to follow at 7:00 p.m.
