The Beaumont School volleyball team beat Laurel School 3-1 in a sectional final match held on Saturday (Oct. 24) afternoon.
Laurel won the first set 28-26 before Beaumont rattled off three straight wins: 25-20, 25-12 and 25-9.
With the win, Beaumont advances to the district semifinal round.
The Blue Streaks, seeded fifth in the district, will host seventh-seeded Revere High School on Wednesday (Oct. 28) night. That match will start at 6:00 p.m. in Cleveland Heights.
Three Blue Streaks were in double figures in kills. Junior Alycen Radolovic led the way with 14 while seniors Darby Leininger (13) and Tyah Williams (11) combined for 24 put-aways.
Junior Thomey was credited with eight kills to go with her six digs.
Senior setter Sarah Yohann had 26 assists and junior Grace Salata was credited with 13 helpers.
Defensively, senior libero Bella Peroni had 25 digs to pace the Blue Streaks and Williams was a part of six blocks.
