Beaumont jumped in front of the Cardinals early on a goal from sophomore Sophia Boes. Her classmate Ellie Olack quickly followed suit and three more sophomores followed with scores of their own to stake the Blue Streaks to a 5-0 lead at the break. Those three goals came from Lexi Patton, Caitlyn Klug and Abby Lambert.
Patton scored her second goal of the match on a free kick to open the second half scoring and then sophomore Makende Stewart made it a 7-0 game. Seniors Caroline Pick and Christina Parker scored to extend the lead to nine before Brookside got on the board thanks to a score from Heaven Vanzant.
Sophomore Kate Slemenda scored late to decide the final margin.
Sophomore Maeve Sommerfeld handled the first 40 minutes in goal and freshman Nicolette Rand relived her for the final stanza.
