Girls Varsity Volleyball · Beaumont Sweeps Hathaway Brown

The Beaumont School varsity volleyball team swept neighborhood rival Hathaway Brown in straight sets on Tuesday (Sep. 8) night.

Beaumont won the first two sets by identical 25-16 scores and won the clincher 25-15.

It was a total team effort as four Blue Streaks recorded at least four kills: juniors India Williams (10), Alycen Radolovic (six), senior Tyah Williams (five) and junior Gabby Thomey (four).

The Beaumont seniors in junior Grace Salata and senior Sarah Yohann (10) combined for 22 assists and Yohann was credited with 10 digs.

Defensively, Tyah Williams led the club with five blocks (one solo, four assists) while sophomore Sarah Kepreos had a solo and two assists. Radolovic and India Williams were both credited with two blocking assists.

Junior Molly Bradley paced the squad with four service aces, senior Bella Peroni had two and her classmate Sarah Hohman had one, as did Thomey.

The Blue Streaks are back at it on Thursday (Sep. 10) for a tripleheader at Lake Catholic. That’s a traditional tripleheader that starts at 4:30 p.m. Despite it being an away match, tickets – two per student-athlete – can be purchased HERE.
