The Beaumont School volleyball program went on the road and swept Chardon at all three levels in Saturday’s (Aug. 22) season openers.
After the freshmen and JV squads took care of their matches in straight sets, the varsity club won 25-17, 25-17 and 25-15.
Juniors India Williams (nine) and Alycen Radolovic (seven) combined for 16 kills. Senior Tyah Williams was credited with six kills while her classmate Darby Leininger and junior Gabby Thomey both had five.
They were set up all afternoon in Beaumont’s 6-2 scheme by senior Sarah Yohann (16 assists) and junior Grace Salata (11 assists).
Senior Bella Peroni led the team with 14 digs while Leininger and junior Molly Bradley were both in double figures with 10.
Senior Sarah Hohman led the Blue Streaks with three service aces.
Beaumont will open the home portion of its schedule on Wednesday (Aug. 26). The freshmen team will host Revere at 4:30 p.m. before the JV and varsity team will take on Geneva.
