Girls Varsity Swimming · Blue Streaks Pick Up Four Wins at Euclid, Improve to 8-1


The Beaumont School swimming team picked up four wins at Euclid High School on Tuesday (Dec. 17) night.

Coach Younkin’s team beat the host Panthers 112-35 and took care of Brush by a score of 112-31. Beaumont also beat Lake Catholic (99-45) and Wickliffe (108-35) to improve to 8-1 on the year.

Some highlights from the meet:

  • Maria Jones, True Robinson, Camryn Koonce and Mateja Rudmann won the 200 medley relay.
  • Maria Jones won the 200 free and Lauren Harmat finished third.
  • Camryn Koonce and True Robinson went one-two in the 200 IM.
  • Mateja Rudmann and Ella Lisac went one-two in the 50 free.
  • Camryn Koonce and Caitlyn Patton went one-two in the 100 fly.
  • Mateja Rudmann and Lauren Harmat went one-two in the 100 free.
  • Audrey Zorman won the 500 free.
  • Ella Lisac, Maria Jones, Lauren Harmat and Mateja Rudmann won the 200 free.
  • Audrey Zorman and True Robinson went one-two in the 100 breaststroke.
  • Beaumont’s top group of Ella Lisac, Lauren Harmat, Camryn Koonce and Audrey Zorman won the 400 free relay while the other group of Gianna Velotta, Anja Rowane, Lizzie Kohler and Caitlyn Patton took third.

The Blue Streaks are back in action Saturday (Dec. 21) at the SPIRE Institute’s Jim Stacy Winter Championships. Information on that meet can be found HERE.
