Girls Varsity Soccer · Blue Streaks Blank VASJ, Earn NCL Win

The Beaumont School varsity soccer team pitched its third shutout of the season in a 4-0 win over Villa Angela-St. Joseph on Wednesday (Sep. 25) night.

Freshman Ellie Olack scored Beaumont’s first goal and senior Colleen Martin added the next three, all of which came in the second half. It was Martin’s second hat trick of the season as she also achieved the feat against Warren JFK early in September.

Junior Christina Parker assisted on Martin’s second goal and Olack had the helper on the final score.

With the win, Beaumont is now 8-3-1 overall and 2-1 in the North Coast League.

The Blue Streaks are idle until Monday’s (Sep. 30) match against Garfield Heights at Denison Park. The JV plays first at 4:30 p.m. before the Blue Streaks and Bulldogs get underway at 6:30 p.m.
