The Beaumont School tennis team kept the good times rolling with a 4-1 win over neighborhood rival Cleveland Heights on Monday (Sep. 23) afternoon.
With the win, the Blue Streaks re-gain possession of the Golden Racquet, the traveling trophy that goes back-and-forth and stays with the winning team until next year’s match.
Senior Nicolette Kelley was a winner in three sets at second singles. Her classmate Gianna Velotta was a winner in the third spot.
Juniors KK McNeill and Jackie Patton were victorious at first doubles while junior Lena Stewart paired with sophomore Carlson Jones to win the second doubles court.
Beaumont is back at it on Tuesday (Sep. 24) when the Blue Streaks host Warren John F. Kennedy at Purvis Park. Its Beaumont’s Senior Day.
