The Beaumont School cross country team finished in fourth place in the Division II race at the Tiffin Cross Country Carnival, hosted Saturday (Sep. 7) at Hedges-Boyer Park.
Lexington High School (71) won the race by narrowly clipping runner-up Ontario (73). St. Vincent-St. Mary (87) was the other school to finish in front of Beaumont (163).
Seniors Addison Ciecierski (18:35.7) and Mia Mlynek (18:37.0) finished sixth and seventh, respectively, while their classmate Carly Perusek ran a 20:11.8 which was good for 33rd.
Junior Claire Wolf was 57th with a time of 21:04.5 and fellow junior Katherine Pomnean ran a 21:12.7 which slotted her 61st.
Freshman Sophia Pomnean ran a 21:18.4 and junior Lizzie Rubadue clocked a 22:14.7.
Beaumont did win the open race as five runners finished in the top-13. Sophomore Crystal Yormick (21:47.1) finished fifth, one spot ahead of freshman Mya Salerno (21:47.2). Freshman Alexa McDade (22:20.5) came in 11th with sophomore Anja Rowane (22:22.4) and freshman Emma Furjanic (22:27.4) right behind her.
