After starting the season with two tournament, the Beaumont School golf team won its first dual match of the year over Lake Catholic on Monday (Aug. 12) afternoon.
As a team, the Blue Streaks shot a 201 while the Cougars came in with a 207 at Black Brook, their home course.
Sophomore Lauren Bangasser fired a 42 while freshman Sophia Vitantonio and senior Nyomi Morris both carded rounds of 48. Junior Katherine Foerg was the other Blue Streak who scored and she finished with a 63.
The Blue Streaks are back at it on Tuesday (Aug. 13) with a 12:30 p.m. match against North Coast League foe Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin. First tee times at Fowler’s Mill begin at 12:30 p.m.
