Girls Varsity Lacrosse · Four Beaumont Lacrosse Players Earn NCL Accolades, Two Earns OSLCA Honors

The North Coast League lacrosse coaches held their annual meeting on Sunday (May 19) morning at Padua Franciscan High School and came up with their list of honorees – and four Beaumont School players were recognized.

Senior Gracie Stover was named to the North Coast League first team and her classmate Ellen Brandon earned second team honors.

Seniors Maddie Hansen and Lauren Hailey both received honorable mention status.

Stover, a two-time team captain, scored 76 goals in her senior season and finished her career with 137 tallies. She scored 14 goals against league opponents while adding six groundballs and six draw controls against NCL foes.

Brandon contributed 21 defensive stops this spring to go with six interceptions in addition to 17 caused turnovers. She was a four-year varsity player, three-year starter and a two-year captain.

Hansen scored 27 goals in 2019 and was the team leader in assists with eight. She scooped up 16 groundballs and won two draw controls. Seven of Hansen’s goals were scored in NCL contests.

Hailey was a four-year varsity player and three-year starter who finished her senior year with 23 defensive stops and six interceptions while causing 15 turnovers.


On Monday (May 20), it was announced Stover was named first team in Division II, Region Six by the Ohio Schoolgirls Lacrosse Association (OSLCA). Her classmate Parker Haynes earned honorable mention praise.
