The Beaumont School track and field program scored 39 points to take eighth place at the 24th Annual Poland Invitational held on Saturday (April 27).

Individually, junior Hannah Heathcote had the highest finish of the day as she came in second place in the 300 hurdles. Heathcote ran a 52-flat to finish .32 behind Poland Seminary’s Carolyn Bocceri.
The 4×800 relay group of sophomore Lizzie Rubadue, juniors Addison Ciecierski and Mia Mlynek and anchored by senior Ashley Rulison added another second place finish with a time of 10:09.20 and finished as Beaumont’s top relay group of the day.
Rulison (11:42.21) and Ciecierski (11:57.65) finished third and eighth, respectively, in the 3200 meter run. Rubadue would later place seventh in the 800 (2:27.20).
Junior Kendall Toppin was fifth in the long jump, clearing 14-3.5.
Beaumont picked up another 10 points when both the 4×200 and 4×400 relay teams placed fourth.
The 4×200 quartet of Toppin, freshman Reese Brady, sophomore JoJo O’Neill and freshman Patricia O’Neill finished in 1:53.23.
Beaumont’s 4×400 group was Rubadue, JoJo O’Neill, Brady and Toppin and they finished in 4:21.41.
The Blue Streaks have a quick turnaround as the North Coast League Championships begin on Tuesday (April 30). Both days (Tuesday and Thursday) start at 4:00 p.m. at Padua Franciscan High School.
