Girls Junior Varsity Lacrosse, Girls Varsity Lacrosse · Blue Streaks Split at Earth Week Tournament

The Beaumont School varsity lacrosse team split its two games at the Earth Week Tournament hosted by Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School over the weekend.

After an 11-5 loss to the host Bees on Friday (April 26), the Blue Streaks responded with a 13-12 come-from-behind win over Toledo Central Catholic on Saturday (April 27) morning.

Against TCC, Beaumont trailed by as many as three but eight goals from senior Gracie Stover and three from her classmate Parker Haynes helped the cause. The other Beaumont tallies came from sophomore Maggie Milam and freshman Bri Pilla.

Stover also scored all five goals in Friday night’s loss to Brecksville-Broadview Heights.

Our JV team defeated Brecksville-Broadview Heights 8-6 to earn its first victory of the season on Friday night. The JV team lost to Green, 6-5, the following morning.

Beaumont is back at it on Monday (April 29) for a JV/varsity doubleheader at Orange High School. The JV game is at 5:30 p.m. so varsity should start in the neighborhood of 7:00 p.m.
