The Beaumont School track and field team took third place at the 87th annual Mansfield Mehock Relays, held on Saturday (April 13).
East Kentwood won the event with a score of 122.66 and Madison Comprehensive had 80 points to also finish ahead of Beaumont. With 63 team points, the Blue Streaks were third of 22 scoring teams.

Junior Mia Mlynek won the 1600 in 5:29.07 and her senior teammate Ashley Rulison was two spots behind her in third with a 5:35.31.
Other third place finishes came from juniors Addy Ciecierski in the 3200 (12:03.37) and Kendall Toppin in the long jump (16-00.25).
Freshman Reese Brady was eighth in the 400 (1:04.50) and added three points to the team score in the high jump (4-10).
Sophomore Lizzie Rubadue was seventh in the 400 (1:03.28) and freshman Patricia O’Neill was seventh in the 200 (27.26), both performances good for two points.
Beaumont added 27 points in the relay events, taking second in both the 4×400 and 4×800, third in the 4×200 and fourth in the 4×100.
