Girls Varsity Basketball · Basketball Season Ends in District Semifinals


The Beaumont School basketball team had its outstanding season come to an end at the hands of top-seeded St. Vincent-St. Mary in a district semifinal at Nordonia High School on Monday (Feb. 25) night.

SVSM prevailed, 63-33.

Beaumont, a team that had not lost since a setback at undefeated Archbishop Hoban on January 19th, finishes the year at 18-7. That record comes just two years removed from the Blue Streaks finishing 1-22.

The Fighting Irish, now 15-9, advance to Thursday’s (Feb. 28) district title game with a Sweet Sixteen bid on the line.
