Girls Varsity Basketball · Perusek Scores 1,000th Point as Blue Streaks Win Home Finale

Beaumont School junior guard Carly Perusek scored her 1,000th career point in the team’s 78-60 victory over Trinity on Saturday (Feb. 2).

With the win, the Blue Streaks improve to 14-6 overall and 7-4 in the North Coast League while the Trojans slipped to 13-4 and 5-3 in the league.

Perusek scored a game-high 24 points to land right on the 1,000-point mark. She joins Eileen Wittman and assistant coach Annie Bova in the program’s exclusive 1,000-point club.

Sophomore guard Elissa Letterio drilled five threes on Saturday and finished with 20 points. Her classmate Lydia Gattozzi added 12 and junior Elizabeth Carvajal finished with 11.
