The Beaumont School swimming and diving program had another double win on Wednesday (Jan. 9) night as the Blue Streaks took care of Fairview High School and Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin School by identical 69-32 scores at the Gemini Center.

By adding two wins, Coach Younkin’s team has improved its record to 6-2.
The night started with the 200 medley relay quartet of junior True Robinson, freshman Camryn Koonce, sophomore Ella Lisac and junior Gianna Velotta finishing first in 2:09.25.
It ended with the group of Lisac, freshman Ellie Hanna, sophomore Maria Jones and Koonce winning the 400 free relay in 4:12.45.
Hanna later added a first place finish in the 100 free (1:01.67) and her classmate Mateja Rudmann was right behind her as she touched at 1:05.77.
Lisac won the 50 free with a time of 28.03 and sophomore Audrey Zorman was third to touch in 29.78.
Robinson won the 100 breast in 1:17.26 and Zorman added another second in that event (1:18.49).
Individually, Koonce also chipped in a second in the 100 fly (1:10.52).
Sophomore Sophie Eyerman (2:22.04) and freshman Lauren Harmat (2:27.93) went two-three in the 200 free and senior Meghan Kessinger added a third place in the 200 IM (2:50.02. Jones added a third in the 500 free (6:26.35) and Koonce was directly behind her (6:28.18).
Junior Rachael Ankenbrandt added more points to the team score with a fourth place showing in the 100 backstroke, an event she finished in 1:26.91.
Beaumont freshman Callie Piro (222.30) and senior Layah Hodges (72.80) were the only two divers on Wednesday night.
The Blue Streaks return to action on Saturday (Jan. 12) at the North East Classic which is being hosted at the University of Akron. Swimming starts at 9:00 a.m.
