The Beaumont School swim team took seventh of 27 teams at the Chardon Hilltopper Invitational, hosted Saturday (Dec. 22) at the Spire Institute in Geneva.
Beaumont finished with 172 team points.

Junior True Robinson contributed 35 of those points in individual events with a fifth place showing in the 100 breast (1:16.97) and a sixth in the 50 breast (35.85).
Sophomore Audrey Zorman was right behind her in the 50 breast (36.13) and took 14th overall in the 200 free (2:18.76). Fellow sophomore Maria Jones covered her 100 free in 1:01.06 which was good for 10th and fellow 10th grader Ella Lisac swam a 1:03.44 to come in 19th.
Freshman Camryn Koonce went 1:08.39 in the 100 fly which was slotted her 10th and she was the 11th to touch in the 100 IM (1:08.98). Her classmate Ellie Hanna came in 14th in the 100 fly (1:13.08) and swam a 1:14.57 in the 100 back to add two more points to the team score.
Beaumont also scored in the 50 free as freshman Mateja Rudmann (28.25) and Lisac (28.63) finished 17th and 18th, respectively.
The young-but-talented 200 free relay team of Jones, Hanna, Rudmann and Koonce finished eighth in 1:52.51 which added 30 points to the team score. Beaumont also took 12th in the 200 medley relay as Jones, Robinson, Koonce and Lisac touched in 2:07.21.
