The Beaumont School swimming and diving program had a double win on Thursday (Dec. 20) night at Hathaway Brown School’s Butler Aquatic Center.
Coach Younkin’s team beat a pair of North Coast League foes in Lake Catholic (59-42) and Saint Joseph Academy (55-47).

Beaumont used its depth to get past the Cougars and Jaguars.
The Blue Streaks lone event victory came in the 200 free relay as freshman Camryn Koonce, junior True Robinson, freshman Mateja Rudmann and sophomore Sophie Eyerman touched in 1:53.67.
Beaumont had the second best team in that event too as sophomore Maria Jones, junior Gianna Velotta, sophomore Ellia Lisac and freshman Ellie Hanna finished in 1:56.41.
Hanna took second in both the 200 (2:13.73) and 500 free (6:02.88) and her classmate Koonce was the second quickest to touch in the 100 fly (1:07.77)
Fellow freshman Rudmann went 27.90 in the 50 free which was good for second and Eyerman was right behind her in 29-flat.
Freshman Callie Piro was the runner-up in diving (162.23) and senior Layah Hodges (83.10) finished third.
Jones chipped in a second place finish in the 100 free (1:01.04) and a third in the 100 back (1:15.27).
In the 100 breaststroke, sophomore Audrey Zorman was second with a 1:16.88 and Robinson was third to touch in 1:17.70.
Beaumont is back at it on Saturday (Dec. 22) at the Hilltopper Invitational, hosted by Chardon High School at The Spire Institute in Geneva.
