The Beaumont School varsity soccer team defeated Brooklyn by a score of 2-0 on Saturday (Oct. 6) afternoon at Conway Field.
Beaumont used two first half goals to knock off the Hurricanes.
The first tally was credited to junior Sophia Holzheimer after she put the ball on net and the keeper mishandled it.
Late in the first period, junior Caitlin McGarry set up sophomore Kaitlin Ashby for an insurance goal.
The two scores proved to be more than enough for the Blue Streak defense, led by senior goalie Mackenzie Pestotnik.
Beaumont is back in action on Monday (Oct. 8) against Berkshire. The Blue Streaks will honor their four seniors in pre-game festivities and kickoff against the Badgers is set for 7:00 p.m. at Denison Park.
