Fall Sports Meeting
Beaumont School will host its Fall Sports Meeting in the dining room on Monday, July 23rd at 6:00 p.m.
It is mandatory for the athletic department to host a meeting to discuss various issues including OHSAA regulations, team policies and what is expected of all parties. This meeting also gives the parents an opportunity to ask questions they might have regarding their daughter’s sport.
Following the general meeting, teams will head off to have individual team meetings.
Fall activities sponsored by Beaumont School include cross country, golf, soccer, tennis and volleyball. We will announce breakout rooms at the conclusion of the general meeting.
These meetings should be attended by a parent. Student-athletes are encouraged to attend.

According to the Ohio High School Athletic Association’s bylaws (Section 4, Bylaw 3-4-1): “Athletic participation forms for participants in any of the grades 7-12 shall be signed by a medical examiner (Physician [M.D., D.O., or D.C.], Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant), the participant and by a parent or guardian. These forms must be on file with the principal or designee (athletic office at Beaumont School) before any candidate for a team may participate in a practice. These forms shall require the medical examiner to certify the individual’s physical fitness no less than once each calendar year.

Beaumont School charges a team fee to participate in athletics. This fee is used to help defray the costs of transportation, officials, equipment, uniforms and entry fees. If a student chooses to quit the team, the fee will not be refunded.
Team fees are due by Wednesday, August 8th.
You can pay online here or make a check payable to Beaumont School. If writing a check, please be sure to include the sport in the memo and drop it off in the athletic office or mail to Beaumont School, Attn: Athletics.

Here is a list of ‘Future OHSAA Sports Dates’ where you can find when coaching begins, when games/matches may start and get an idea as to when the postseason will take place.
As you can see, all five fall sports that Beaumont offers may begin coaching on August 1st. At the Fall Sports Meeting on July 23rd, coaches will talk about tryout schedules.
