The Beaumont School track and field team competed in the Northeast Ohio Catholic Invitational on Saturday (May 12) at Villa Angela-St. Joseph.

Sophomore Addison Ciecierski was first in the 3200 run (11:56.71) and Beaumont’s 4×400 relay group of freshman Lizzie Rubadue, sophomores Kendall Toppin and Mia Mlynek and junior Ashley Rulison won the race in 4:11.28.
Mlynek was also second in the 1600 (5:12.33) with Rulison placing fifth (5:23.03).
Other highlights included freshman Ella Lisac taking fifth in the 800 (2:29.27), two spots ahead of sophomore Hannah Heathcote (2:29.27).
Freshman Lizzie Rubadue covered the 200 in (28.43) which was good for sixth place, sophomore Kendall Toppin finished seventh in both the 100 (14.09) and 200 (28.72) and rookie Katherine Pomnean took sixth in the 400 (1:09.12) and eighth in the high jump (4’ 3”),
In the 1600 JV race, freshmen Sophie DiGiandomenico (6:26.38) and Seneca Rulison (6:51.01) finished third and fifth, respectively.
The 4×800 quartet of freshman Claire Wolf, DiGiandomenico, Seneca Rulison and freshman Christina Parker placed fifth with a time of 10:36.50 while the 4×200 relay team of freshman Skylar Miller, sophomore Deavan Trumble, Pomnean and freshman JoJo O’Neill was seventh after finishing in 1:56.93.
Saturday’s meet concluded the regular season.
Next up is the Division II District Meet which will be held at Perry High School starting on Thursday (May 17). Field events will start promptly at 3:30 p.m. with races set to begin at 5:00 p.m.
Finals for both boys and girls will be on Saturday (May 19) with field events at 10:00 a.m. and running events beginning at 11:30 a.m.
