The Beaumont School track and field team took fourth place in the Blue Division at the 2018 North Coast League Championships.
Saint Joseph Academy won the meet with 151 points while Archbishop Hoban (87) and Walsh Jesuit (82.5) also finished in front of Beaumont (66). Host Padua Franciscan took fifth with 53 points while Lake Catholic (46) and Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin (26.5) rounded out the field.

Some Beaumont highlights included senior Danielle Christian winning the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 48.87 seconds. Christian also tied for third in the high jump after clearing 4’8”.
Sophomore Mia Mlynek placed second in the 1600 meter run (5:14.10) and third in the 800 (2:23.33). Her classmate Addison Ciecierski turned in a fourth place finish in the 3200 (12:17.20).
Junior Ashley Rulison was fourth in the 1600 (5:22.86) and fifth in the 800 (2:26.30).
Freshman Lizzie Rubadue added two individual points with her time of 1:02.34 in the 400.
Rubadue, Christian, Mlynek and Rulison then paired together to run a 4:09.26 in the 4×400 which was good for second place.
Other scoring relays came from a third place showing in the 4×800 (Rulison, freshman Ella Lisac, Ciecerski and Mlynek in 10:04.81) and the 4×200 relay team of Christian, sophomore Kendall Toppin, freshman JoJo O’Neill and Rubadue placing fifth with a time of 1:49.44.
Senior Elsa Gran added a point to the team score with a sixth place showing in Thursday’s discus throw after being measured at 84’ 6”.
