The Beaumont School swimming and diving team took second place at Saturday’s (Dec. 30) Euclid Panther Invitational.
Senior Danielle Christian won the 100 back and anchored the victorious 200 free relay team with junior Meghan Kessinger, senior Katie McGreal and sophomore Gianna Velotta.
Freshman Audrey Zorman and sophomore True Robinson were second and third, respectively, in the 500 free.
The Blue Streaks were scheduled to host Fairview and West Geauga on Saturday afternoon but that meet was canceled because the heat was out at Hathaway Brown.
Beaumont will compete again on Wednesday (Jan. 3) at the University of Akron’s Ocasek Natatorium against North Coast League foe Walsh Jesuit. The bus will leave school at 3:25 p.m. with 5:00 p.m. warmups and a 6:00 p.m. meet start.
