Kelly Hollis, a current senior at Beaumont School, has been playing volleyball for the Blue Streaks for four years. Kelly dominates the position of outside hitter. Other than playing volleyball for the Blue Streaks, Kelly enjoys many other activities. She coaches a J.O. team and works in a boutique. Kelly enjoys participating in boxing. Her favorite athlete is, of course, Kerri Walsh Jennings, a three-time Olympic gold medalist for the United States in beach volleyball. Kelly’s favorite quote is “Pain is weakness leaving the body.”, the infamous motto of the Marines. In the fall, Kelly will attend Ohio University, majoring in either business or journalism. In the future, Kelly would like to go into fashion merchandising. Out of all 4 years at Beaumont, Kelly has two favorite volleyball memories: making the JV team as a freshman and going to the Elite 8 in her senior year. As Kelly prepares to graduate with the class of 2017 in the spring, the Beaumont community wishes her all the best!
