Thanks to a 3-0 win over Wooster Triway High School in Thursday (Nov. 2) night’s regional semifinal, the Beaumont Blue Streaks are one win away from reaching the Division II Final Four.

Set scores against the Titans were 25-21, 25-21 and 25-18.

With the win, the Blue Streaks advance to Saturday’s (Nov. 4) regional final against Lake Catholic. That match will be held at Stow-Munroe Falls High School and first serve is set for 2:00 p.m.

Beaumont will be selling tickets for $6 in the athletic department during/after school on Friday (Nov. 3). All tickets at the gate on Saturday afternoon will be $8. The Stow-Munroe Falls Booster Club will be charging $2 per car to park.

Lake Catholic won both meetings during the regular season, but both matches went a full five sets.

The Blue Streaks – who were victorious four times in the regular season – are now five-for-five in the postseason and sit at 9-18.

Triway ends its season at 23-3.
