Beaumont Places Three of First Four at McDonough Invitational

Beaumont School had three of the first four finishers at Saturday’s (Sep. 16) McDonough Invitational which was hosted by Villa Angela-St. Joseph High School at Forest Hills Park.

Junior Ashley Rulison won the race in 19:08.4 to finish directly in front of St. Joseph Academy’s Annie Allen (19:21.3). To see an interview of Ashley that was conducted by MileSplit after the race, please click here.

Beaumont sophomore Addison Ciecierski was third with a time of 19:39.0 while her classmate Mia Mlynek finished in 19:48.9 which was good for fourth place.

Sophomore Anna Farrington came in 30th with a time of 22:48.4 and freshman Katherine Pomnean was Beaumont’s fifth finisher (23:18.9).

Senior Lily Wagner covered the distance in 24:32.7 which was good for 45th.

Beaumont was the team runner-up with only Division I Magnificat finishing better.
