Joe Jovanovski

Joe Jovanovski was named the new head soccer coach at Beaumont School on July 25, 2017.

Jovanovski played soccer at Elyria Catholic High School where he was an All-Lorain County performer. He also earned All-Greater Cleveland honors as a senior.

After two years at Lorain County Community College where he was a center midfielder and team captain, Jovanovski attended Tiffin University and played two years for the Dragons before graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in English.

In 2013, Tiffin split the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference regular season title with Ohio Dominican University and went on to make the NCAA Division II Tournament as a regional qualifier. In his senior season, the Dragons won the GLIAC crown outright and returned to the NCAA Division II Tournament.

Jovanovski was most recently coaching soccer at Benedictine High School.

“Joe Jovanovski will do a really nice job as the head soccer coach at Beaumont School,” Tiffin University Assistant Athletic Director and Jovanovski’s former head coach Rudy Brownell said. “The strong coaches I have been around have always possessed a positive attitude and had great enthusiasm for the game and I see that in Joe. When he was a player, Joe was always a pleasure to be around and he had a tremendous knowledge of the game. I know he’ll work hard to teach the game and grow the program.”
